26_11_11 Christmas Nightwear or top - Evening
Come and join us to make some Christmassy Nightwear!
The course lasts for 4 weeks and starts from the 11 November and ends on the 2 December.
Session timings are from 18:00 - 20:30hrs
Make a cosy dressing gown or pjs. If you prefer to make a fancy Christmas top instead, this is also an option. So go cosy or glam for Christmas!
The use of top of the range overlockers are included, plus the use of cutting tables and irons. There is a fully stocked haberdashery at the Quilting Bee downstairs, therefore any forgotten bits can be purchased at class.
Tea, coffee plus a treat is included.

26_11_15 Intensive Beginners Course
SUNDAY, 15 November
Course duration: 9.00 - 4.30pm
Course Suitability: beginner
Location: Sewing with Style Studio, The Quilting Bee, Craig y Don, Llandudno
- You will start by choosing your fabrics for both designs.
- Practicalities: Threading your machine, cutting your bag and vest top.
- We will then practice straight stitching before we get stuck in!
- Make a stylish origami knot bag and learn how to sew around a curve, insert a lining and decorate by using origami pleating techniques
- In the afternoon, we will make this cotton vest top where you will learn how to fit your pattern, add facings and top stitch.
At the end of the day, you will have two items that you can show off with pride!
Course includes all materials and instructions which you can take home with you.
Please bring your own sewing machine, or if you prefer, we can loan you a machine for a small sum.

26_11_21 Tailored or Barrel Leg Trousers - 2 Day Course
Two day course - Saturday and Sunday, 21 & 22 November
Join us to make a pair tailored trousers or the more casual cargo pants. Learning points: fitting trousers, fly front seam, waistband, welt back pockets.
Session timings are from 09:00 - 16:30hrs on both days

Make the classic quilted couture bag at the home of North Wales Couture - Sewing with Style!
This brand new course offers you all the materials*, tools, exclusive pattern and instructions to make this classic French Bag. And no fitting required!
You can choose between the Marilyn (the silver version) or the smaller Audrey
- The bag can be made on a regular domestic sewing machine (zipper foot is essential)
- Dimensions:
- Marilyn 25cm length, 19 height & 6 side width
- Audrey 30cm length, 21 height & 10 side width
- Length of strap - 115cm full length or 60cm as a double strap

27_02_19 French Couture Jacket

The French Style jacket is a wardrobe staple. The deceptively simple shape hides a multitude of couture techniques. Come and join us to make this classic at Sewing with Style. Lose yourself in the hand sewing techniques honed in the ateliers in Paris.
We will start by making a toile (practice garment). From then we will fit the garment to your figure and make adjustments to the pattern. The following days will be spent cutting the beautiful tweed (possible pattern matching!), quilting, fitting a sleeve, adding pockets, fringing (optional), gimp braiding (optional) and using hidden techniques to make this a truly beautiful addition to your wardrobe.
Course inclusions: Exclusive Sewing with Style French Couture Jacket Pattern (not available for general sale), high quality interfacing for the full jacket, specialist tuition in French Couture Techniques.
Location: Sewing with Style Studio, an airy studio based above the popular Quilting and Haberdashery shop in Craig y Don, Llandudno.
